Working With The Center
The Center welcomes expressions of interest from qualified investigators. Successful collaborative projects engage the personnel and resources of the Center to develop new tools and technologies to enable biomedical science. Successful projects demonstrate true synergy with the Center’s activities, such that the Center and the collaborating group benefit from the interaction.

Collaboration Through The NIH Collaborative R01 and R21 Program
- Read the R01 and R21 Collaborations with the National Center for Biomedical Ontology - A Guide to Process and Content and follow the instructions therein.
- Note that grant applications to the NIH under the Collaborative R01 and R21 program require that the applicant include a 5-page description of our Center with the 398 form. A draft description of The National Center for Biomedical Ontology is available - Center Overview. Applicants will want to modify this text to highlight synergies with their proposed work.
