What is PATO?

PATO is an ontology of phenotypic qualities, intended for use in a number of applications, primarily defining composite phenotypes and phenotype annotation.

These will soon be available from NCBO BioPortal. For now you should just obtain them from http://obo.sourceforge.net/browse.html

Request tracker

You can use the tracker (currently hosted on sourceforge) to request new terms or suggest modifications

Requests for new terms should preferably come attached with proposed definitions and sources for those definitions
