Venue

Schedule and room assignments are here.

All tutorials and Classes will be held at the University at Buffalo North Campus in lecture rooms which are approximately 10 minutes walk from the Marriott and other recommended hotels.

For information regarding accommodation see here.

Taxis, Shuttle and Parking

Many of the recommended hotels have complimentary shuttle service from the Buffalo Airport. (Telephones in baggage claim area.) If you take a taxi to Park Hall, where the Information Desk is located and which is close to the other UB North Campus buildings where tutorials and classes are scheduled, ask for 'Flint Loop, UB North Campus'.

Park Hall is 10-15 minutes walk from the Marriott and the other recommended hotels. If you prefer not to walk, most hotels provide complimentary shuttle service to Flint Loop. If you will need to drive to Park Hall, please inform [1], and a parking tag will be prepared for your collection at the Information Desk when you arrive.

Information Desk

From July 20-23 (8.30am to 3pm) an information desk will be available in 135 Park Hall on the University North Campus [2]. In emergencies please call (716) 432-8676.

For pre-registered participants usernames and passwords for campus wifi access can be obtained from the information desk. In order to obtain access, updated anti-virus software must be installed on your machine.

Participants are advised that extension cords will not be provided in campus classrooms. Feel free to bring your own.

Niagara Falls Excursion

We are assembling ad hoc groups of those interested in excursions to Niagara Falls on the afternoon of Tuesday July 21. Those wishing to participate should write ON OR BEFORE JULY 19 to Leonard Jacuzzo, indicating availability of rental car or other transport and willingness to serve as driver. Some excursions will include a visit to the Canadian side of the Falls, for which a passport and potentially also a visa are required.
