Tentative dates: either July 13-16, 2009 or July 20-23, 2009 (co-located with the International Conference on Biomedical Ontology, tentatively scheduled for July 17-20, 2009)

The Buffalo Ontology Summer School will comprise two types of events:

Barry Smith (Buffalo) and Alan Ruttenberg (Science Commons): From Basic Formal Ontology to the Information Artifact Ontology
Olivier Bodenreider (National Library of Medicine): An Introduction to Biomedical Ontology
